Recent Rodeos

I have to give credit when it is obviously due.  My recent Rodeo deliveries are even better than my previous ones.  The internal polishing of the hand channel and clean curve of the hand window are great.  The action is very smooth and timing feels perfect.  The Case Colored Hammer falls as crisp as the trigger pull is.  Fit & Finish is fantastic, and the checkering on the rubber grips is deep and clean for a great grip.  As far as I am concerned, this kind of attention to the fine details has definitely knotched quality up a step.  I can't wait until I get my Pre-War and remaining Inspector Series guns.

I am kicking myself that I let a chance to get a "Sheriff Model" Rodeo get away last month or so.  There was a guy on Gunbroker or one of the online auction sites that had a 3 1/2" bbl Rodeo in .45C that he stated was made at the factory.  It had a shortened ejector rod also.  Man, that would have been just the daisy to carry in a shoulder holster along with my brace of .45C Rodeos on my standard belt rig.  Doubt I'll see the likes of one of those again!!!!

I'm doing some slicking up with my shooting pard's Rodeos, right now even as I write this. Anybody that has worked on Italian guns would really appreciate these Rodeos. Some of the best machining I have ever seen (and I've been a CNC machinist for 28 years). These are really clean! The fit of componets I have never seen the likes of. The grips were so well fit, I had a difficult time getting them off. I expected this of my premier models, but would not have thought that the Rodeos would be of the same quality.
I am impressed!
