If your Club has a TG that communicates ... what is the primary method?

Howdy John Boy,

I no longer have a regular club that I shoot with, so as a result, I don't have a TG, either. Kinda one of the weaknesses in the SASS system.

I shoot at several different clubs, so asked Chuckaroo to act as my TG. Chuckaroo is what every TG should be. He sends out emails every week with a list of upcoming shoots, goes to the local gunshows to represent SASS, and has already emailed out the items on the TG Agenda for voting. On top of that, he holds regular new shooter's clinics at his home club and is readily available by phone for questions.

He gets two thumbs up from me.

:D

If it can't be nice, eaten, make money, create comfort or provide real pleasure.........kill it or trade it in on new one!

"TG"

Territorial Governor. I don't see a definition of this position in the SASS handbook, so I stand ready to be corrected by those more in the know. A TG is elected by a SASS afiliated cowboy action shooting club to represent them in a governing 'senate'. The TG must be a life member of SASS, and agree to attend the meetings (which are frequently at End of Trail &/or the SASS Convention held in Las Vegas). They vote on rule changes, acceptable categories or firearms-subject to the veto authority of the Wild Bunch.

I have tried to offer this explanation in good faith, with no editorial spin or comment :-X

Calamity Jane

Me local club ain't affiliated (and ain't like to EVER be) so we don't got a TG. The Minnesota club I shoot with does have a TG, but that don't stop me! When I get a burr under me saddle, I lasso every TG I kin get holt of 'n' bend his/her ear - not that it does any good.

Not yet, but I'm sure it will be at the October picnic.
