I think Cammy was 1st in Ladies Traditional and if I am correct in thinking Stump was 1st in his class of Frontier Cartridge Duelist.

I posted this on the SASS wire already but it needs to be here too.

The SASS Virginia State Championship, The Star City Shootout was a great match as usual. Firestick made a comment at the banquet last night that they had a great bunch of shooters and that every one had positive comments. Well YEAH! That's because there isn't anything negative to say about the match!!!!

That's not what I came here to talk about though. There's a very special little lady in VA that I came to know about 3 years ago. She was soo cute at the age of 12 and already a very responsible little cowgirl. Jamie, I love ya girl and I am so proud of you for becoming the Virginia State Lady Champion at the age of 15. You rock lady! I have tears in my eyes right now as I type. You have so many people that are so proud of you and who knew that you would be there one day but who ever guessed that it would be this soon?

Dig'em, McMate...you two done good. You raised a lady and and a great cowgirl that is gonna end up shootin' the pants offa ya both one of these days.

DD, Dig'em is correct. I got first in Ladies Traditional and Stump shot his very first match in FCD and got first second.

Thanks for all the wonderful words for Jamie. She's been my angel from day one.

With tears in your eyes you wrote, with tears in my eyes I write, and with a heavy heart that I wasn't there to cheer her on as I had to work.

I am so glad that she had so many people around her that love her when she was awarded such a wonderful title; lord knows she has worked hard for it.

She already shoots the pants off of me.

This year alone she has won her class in the NC Championship, Northeast Regional and now VA State Ladies Champ; now we won't even talk about the monthly that she shoots.

Yes, I am proud !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was kinda proud of my match a week ago. I was worried that the '87 would make me finish dead last, but it didn't. It sure did eat me up on my time, though, More practice with the '87 needed!
