I just purchased a gun today at a gun show.  Its a Brolin Industries model 1873 in .45LC.  Its a Colt clone made by  Pietta.  Its an older gun with hammer mounted firing pin and no transfer bar safety.  Has anyone heard of this company and are these guns any good?  I didn't pay much cause I haggled with the guy.  It also has nickle finish its a beautiful gun and fit and function are good.  Just never heard of Brolin so if anyone has any info on them I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

If it's made by Pietta it should be as good - or bad - as any other Pietta offering. All they do is stamp the dealer's name on the guns.
I saw photographs earlier this year in Italy of the NRA commemorative SAA and 1892 rifle. The pistol is by Pietta and Armi Sport are making the rifle. Believe these are put out over there by Charles Daly?
