I finally located the year code on my Cimmaron '51 Richard Masons.  "BU"  On my older guns the code was on the right side of the frame.  On the R-Ms it was on the bottom of the frame, just ahead of the trigger frame.  It was faint, and partially overstamped by the serial number.  I assume that either the maker or the importer wanted to retain period correct markings on the side of the frame.

As Quincy1's table ends at "BT" = 2003, I assume that means my pistols were made in 2004.
