Pinkerton Agent

Went to the gun show in Novi, Michigan today and saw a number of original Spencers, mostly carbines. Prices ranged from around $1800 to 4K. I didn't coon-finger any of them as I don't like doing that when I'm not a qualified buyer. I did eyeball them closely and it made me appreciate how good a repro my Taylor is, (as reproductions go).

As my Rifle is finaly due to arrive in Norway, I am happy. The hurry up and wait seems to be over.....
I must admit that I have left my Trace of DNA on my friends original "5 Mitchigan" carbine................< ;D>

In the waiting time I have red Roy M Marcots exelent book and gathered parts for a Blackeslee that will be in the makings soon.
Honour is like a an island, steep and without a shore.
Once you leave you can newer return.!
