Best Uberti Schofield CLone Gunsmith?

Any suggestions of who can really make these guns run well with tune ups or actions jobs etc?

Check out Happy Trails (Bill English) at "www.thesmithshop.com" - he does great work and is a great guy.
His action conversion transforms the Schofield. He did a pair of Uberti "Wells Fargo" Schofields for me - MUCH smoother and precise in feel.

He also lists a standard action job that does not include the bolt / lock mod.

Also, ask about his "old eyes" rear sight mod. (not on the web site).

Virginia I'm curious, did you get a new gun that was under par?

I'm not sure as it was a Navy Arms gun that still shoots pretty well it is just that the cylinder is sticky and doesn't seem right even after it got a good cleaning.
