Filley is in my neck of the woods, it's about 15 miles northeast of me, it's part of of God's country, Gage County Nebraska which I call home.  When I was a kid, if you went anywhere between Filley or Adams, someone might speak German to you or English, it was always a toss up....  There use to be lots of limestone quarrys here in the county, but not anymore....
