Mississippi River Cruise
« on: August 25, 2006, 07:43:37 AM »
My home SASS club has set up a Mississippi River Cruise.  It would be nice if some of our area NCOWS members would sign up.

The date is Sepetember 10 .
Boarding starts at 8:30 am Includes buffet breakfast.
The Julia Belle Swain is the only true steamboat on the upper Mississippi.
You must be period dressed to get the special rate of 28.88.
For more info and reservations call Riverboat Roy or Pearly White at (608)
781-3012.

Will, Thanks for the heads-up. The wife and I were looking for something to do that weekend(it's our anniversary). This fills the bill perfectly, Momma gets a cruise and shopping, I get to play cowboy. See ya then. Al. P.S. I'm assuming that all paper you may have on anyone will be suspended for the duration of the cruise? Thanks again, Al.

Shalako, I was asked to post it.  I don't think I'll be able to go.  I hope you have a nice time.  I know every one who has in the past enjoyed it.

Will,
Is that something they do every year or is this a "one time" thing?

I'll have to see if the wife can go.  Can kids go on it also? (They do have period dresses)

Dog, I think this is the 3rd or 4th year.

Although I said this was being put on by our local SASS club I want to make the point that most of those who are involved are also NCOWS members and they specifically asked me to post it here so we could get more NCOWS members involved.
