Long as we're talkin' lead here, I made a good score this weekend.  Went to an estate auction and got a coffee can and Bugler can full of old fishing sinkers (about 30 lbs), plus an old taclebox with another 5 lbs worth of sinkers, lots of nearly new hooks (NIB) and a couple worm boxes and bedding, oh, and a fish basket, all for $12.  The wife said, "Don't you have enough lead?"   Well, I think I have a lifetime supply, but I must have been feeling optimistic that day.

One of the new friends that I just made up here is gonna sort me out with a stock.
Just found out that he's a roofer. I asked him about flashing and he told me that there is literally tonnes of it in the yard and that the owner would rather people 'liberate it' than pay $$$$$$ for county removal!!!!
