Hi, I just ordered my first rig ever and I have a couple of questions I was hoping you pros could help me out with.
1) well first of all.....I ordered it to small...even though I ordered it a couple of sizes larger than my pants....I put it on and it being my first holster I find now that I like it to be a little bit lower......is there anywhere to order just the belt....so I can have some slack?

2) it does not have the leg tie........how should I go about putting a leg tie on the holster so when I draw it dont raise up with the gun?
or will this go away when the holster breaks in a lil and does not hug the gun so tight?
I would be very grateful for any help ya'll may have for me.

Joey, are we talking Buskyderro rig?   Is there any reason that a larger substitute can not be worked out with the seller, even a restocking fee beats eating the cost of a belt you cant use?  Most SASS shooters Im familiar with do not use a leg tie, even when available on a buskederro rig.  Not knowing how tight we are talking about, Im gonna guess that the answer should be that it will break in to some degree and perhaps thats all you need.  I think your problem needs a bit more work based on the holster riding up remark.  Starting with a dry holster, wrap a couple of layers of paper towel tightly around your gun at the cylinder/trigger guard and secure with a few wraps of masking tape and do the same thing around the front sight.  Slip this arrangement into a plastic bag or wrap it in plastic kitchen wrap to allow a slick outer layer.  Try to work this into the holster without tearing up the wrapping material, if things are to tight for this to work you may need to prestretch the holsters with mop and or hammer handles.  If the holster can be fully inserted then gently stretch the leather by rotating the gun inside it, just a degree or two in each direction is plenty.  If this does not work for you then try wet forming next.  One last thought, do not force your gun down tightly into a holster right before going to the shooting line, you may be forcing past its sweet spot.

Thanks.....the holster I got was the Tequilla. It is nice.....and the more I practice with it....the more it is starting to loosen up and feel right. Thanks for those tips though. I guess I was just lacking a little patients.
