called "Telegraph Days"  Just read it.  Not bad, not "Lonesome Dove" of course, but still not bad.  It's a bit of a stretch to really find the heroine belivable, though.  She knows Custer, and Wild Bill, meets Buffalo Bill and later the Earps,  and Holliday of course, and also witnesses the Ok Corral fight.

But any new McMurty Western that don't deal with sheepherders that ain't sure of their sexual idenity is welcome.
