Is there some way to tell from the weight of the bullet that you are casting as to what the alloy might be? I see where one of the folks mentioned using straight wheel weights for some shooting and changing to more lead for other shooting. What kind of weight differance do you see when you do that? Thanks

Arcey

I cast 358665 Lymans.  They're supposed ta be 158 grains outta Lyman's #2 alloy.  Outtah straight wheel weights they're right there at 158 plus or minus a half grain or so.

Outtah three parts wheel weights and one part soft lead they're closer to 161.
