Latest Project...(Open Top w/ Tiffany Grip)

...putting a Tiffany grip on my open top!





I bought the grip some five years ago at Winter Range, and just recently got around (read motivated ) to fitting them.  I've spent hours and hours fitting them and the new trigger guard to the gun.  I still have some detail work to do but it's far enough along to shoot...which I did at the last cowboy match I shot.  It was good for lots of style points!!   I eventually plan to get the gun properly scratched up to match them and then nickel (no, not silver) plated.

Man that's sharp!!

Know what ya mean about getting motivated. Got a pair of ivory type grips from Gripmaker for Christmas. Finally got started on one set and got it nearly done and had to stop. Now I've got to get back to it soon cause I'm dying to see how it looks finished! Then I'll only have one more set to do.

Thanks...Be sure to post pics of it when you're finished.  I think that open tops and ivory grips are made for each other!
