Bad News Creates Opportunity for Someone

Well Pards, made the mistake of going to the sawbones about some problems I've been having (multiple doc's, multiple problems). Good news is that I haven't hit the "Last Roundup" yet, bad news is that they think I could if I don't change some things in my life. Due to medication they now have me on and general physical condition, no "strenuous outdoor activities" and "no prolonged exposure to heat or sun". Good luck with that living in North Central Texas!!!  My other hobby is 22 benchrest, which I can do in indoor ranges in the 25 yard scoped and 15 meter Match Sight divisions. You think CAS is expensive (it is, but worth it  ), try a $2000+ custom BR rifle and paying $1000 a case for 22lr match ammo and $500 for a front mechanical rest!

The news, combined with the accompanying bills and my continued unemployment/self employment forces me to make some hard choices. Since I can follow the doc's orders and still shoot my 22's, CAS has got to go, at least until I can improve my health and pay off some bills. I'm going to run all of these in the CAS Classified's, but wanted to give my pards here a chance first, since this is a brand new battery and pretty close to period-correct. I would prefer to sell everything as a package, but will end up breaking it down by the time it hits the classified's if I have to.

1 - Taylor's Spencer Carbine, 44 Russian, as NIB, I have never fired it and I don't think the previous owner ran more than a box through it from the appearance, in the case with the manual, MINT condition.
2 - Cimarron 1872 Open Tops, 5.5" barrel, 44 Special (obviously will fire Russian), Navy-sized grip frame in brass, NIB with consecutive serial numbers, haven't even been fully cleaned or handled yet, let alone fired.
2 - Pietta 1851 "Marshall's", 5.5" barrel, 44 caliber (I know, wrong on a 51, but the gun just looks and handles so well), factory engraved, natural steel finish with brass grip frame, NIB, never fired or even loaded.

Total cost of gun package is $2500 and includes a full set of stainless nipples for the Pietta's, powder flask and nipple wrench, wooden reloading stand, I CSA Brass buckle and 2 black leather cap/ball/cartridge pouches with flap covers, 500 brand new Starline nickeled 44 Russian cases. If your holsters aren't wet-molded, the same holster will handle the Open Top and the Pietta. I was going for a late 1860's to early 1870's Texas CSA vet persona with this battery.

This is not a "clearance sale", but the prices are fair and the extra's add about $150 to the package. With Two Flint's permission, I will leave this post up for a week before I close it and move the guns to Classified's.
