Title: A ray of sunshine at a tragic event...
Post by: Wymore Wrangler on June 20, 2006, 04:50:35 PM
Heading home from work, and running a few errands, I saw the funeral procession of a young man killed in Iraq a week ago.  He worked at the same facility that I do, but deployed as a reservist.  The protestors from that Kansas church showed up with their #(%* signs a block north of the church, which is on Hwy 77.   Several business employees near the church told me that an unknown semi truck and trailer, stopped right in front of the protestors and blocked the view of the church, raised his hood and stated "he broke down"!!!  After the people went into the church, the engine suddenly worked agained....  God bless that trucker.....

I'm a member of the Patriot Guard and we show up at all service funerals and block these so called buttwipes, by placing a flag shield around the funeral.  You should see if you have one in your area & volunteer to help out.

to find out more go to www.patriotguard.org/

I'm proud to be a member & it is the best group, I've been connected with.

Id like to personaly Thank that trucker!!! I think protesting at a funeral sinks to an all time low!! I did not realise that kind of thing went on but in a very small area. Ive heard good things about the Patriot Guard. May have to look into them as anything weird seems to come to CA.DR.  PS. Blondetta your link is taking me to a background check Company.

I reckon those folks have forgotten who gave them the freedom to do what they do.  My condolences to the family.  I'm VERY PROUD of my sons: ex-Marine MP, ex-Army MP, current active duty Marine.  OOOORAH and Semper Fi.
