Title: Shot Show 2024
Post by: RRio on January 25, 2024, 10:08:41 PM
From the videos I have watched on You Tube, it seems Shot Show 2024 is all black guns and ccr, now. saw no cowboy types at all. Disappointing. ???

I mostly agree, but I've seen a few, new modern lever actions shown.
The new S&W lever action, if you spend the money for the wood version, is vaguely cowboy.
Also, the Winchester Ranger is a new 22cal lever action and it is very cowboy.
edit: Taurus apparently introduced a SAA clone as well.
edit2: Cimmaron finally released it's new 1887 Shotgun

Based on the classically styled Uberti 1873 series models, a new line of 1873 Hunter six-shot revolvers. these revolvers—available in .45 LC and .44 Magnum chambers—add top-mounted Picatinny rails for easy scope or electronic optic integration.

Aptly named  Model PU  :)

They did not leave the Winchester 73 out either.   :-[

After poking around the Heritage website, when did they start carrying lever actions 22's and 12ga SxS's?  I assume they are rebranded Taurus and Stoegers?

Looked at the Heritage site for the new SxS. Doesn't say there where built, but it says Black Chrome barrels, which Stoeger doesn't use. It's common in Turkey, as the Huglus made for CZ use that.

Okay, the new Heritage Badlander is a Turkish built gun. Still don't know who is making iit for them though.

Nothing really new.....Arizona Ranger.....formerly the Evil Roy?.......S&W 1854.....hybrid Marlin, and over priced.......only new about the 1873 short rifle is it's in stock......Bad Boy with a picatinney rai;? Guess that's better than the Uberti 1873 rifle with a picatinney on it........1887....china made?....if it is Chiapa made it'll be way overpriced........Pietta is showing off a premium line of SAA's that are finished in US with traditional color case, but have not found any mention of price premium over standard production.......

Seems to be the same, except more refinement.

::)  No pricing??? The rifle version isn't hideous, but the yellow reciever???  Watched the video, really wanted to see what happens after that 'cowboy' shot the rifle over the horses head! ;D  Why is the mag tube so far from the barrel, the gap is hideous...... :-X
