Title: Need some work done on some open tops
Post by: Two Bit Charlie on August 09, 2019, 10:08:22 AM
Hello the camp.
I need a suggestion on someone to work on my open tops. I have 4 Uberti conversions that need the arbors fixed and then slicked up for competition. Two of them have bolt lock up  issues. I also have 3 cap guns which will need arbor work. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Isom,

Would also be my suggestion ...... EXCEPT ....... Da Goon is not an FFL holder (last I knew) and cannot receive cartridge guns.  Strictly a Cap Gun guy (last I knew).  Perhaps Mike will wade in and either confirm or deny the allegations  :D

Thanks Isom!!

Coffinmaker, you are correct (and thanks!),  but I do have an ffl to receive and ship for me. So, it is possible. I've done quite a few O.T.s and Rem. conversions.

Two Bit, you can reach me through my website or PM here.

Thanks again guys!!

Mike

I second OK Tom!

Reasonable, knowledgeable and very experienced. Cowboy firearms are all he specializes in.

Did wonders on my '58 Remington and Leech & Rigdon. (Plus he got me out of a scrape when my '66 malfunctioned in the middle of a match. Add kudos to J. Barr on that, too.)
