Title: A "Cheyenne" Mexican loop
Post by: Graveyard Jack on October 12, 2015, 01:42:15 PM
Here's a left handed Mexican loop made from Ghormley's pattern. This one in a dark brown color for a 4¾" Colt SAA or New Vaquero. Littered with antique brass spots surrounded by double border stamping. Pictures don't do it justice, it turned out beautifully. The belt is mine and is a different color, so it's not supposed to match. ;)

I have a technical question.

I don't see any lining, so how do you prevent the backside of the spots affecting the revolvers finish?

I set the prongs deep enough into the leather that it doesn't pose a problem.
