Rowdy my wish list was short and simple - New hat ((not expensive)) 1880's pants and shirt. Warned the wife not to buy expensive as I intend to tie them behind the car and take them for a few laps around the field (so they don't look too new.) ;D
Merry Christmas to all.
My wish is to get Pedersoli to listen to me when I suggest changes in their production for improving historical authenticity of all their firearms. This would be, I believe, a benefit to all vantage shooters over many time periods. So far these suggest have worked out very well.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all,
Blair
What I want for Christmas is for the anti-gun people to leave us alone (gun owners) guns don't kill people...people kill people..but after the shooting Friday ..you know they won't..
Merry Christmas to all....CA$H Creek..
A big lube bullet mold so I can shoot real black next year
BTB
A set of Pistols in 44-40 and a 73 in 44-40 to go with them.
Merry Christmas
Snakebite you better tell Santa you going to need four handguns and two rifles if you don't want to start a war in your house.. ;D CA$H
In addition to Peace on Earth I'd like some snow and cold weather so I can hit the slopes.
I ordered a non-regulation holster from Wolf Ears and am eager to see if UPS will deliver before Christmas ....
Happy holidays everyone and may 2013 be a year of success for you !
Remember .... No matter how bad it looks ..... Success has always been where YOU make it !

I got my wishes, a Springfield Hawken .50 cal rifle, and just ordered the engraved colt .51 Navy with faux ivory grips from Cabelas. Good Christmas! Plus wife bought me a .45 cal Colonial Pistol, and I had got a .45 cal Tower pistol that same week.I'm in Hog heaven, lol!
Santa was very good to me this year!
Just before Christmas, Santa helped me locate a hard to find 5 1/2 barrel for my Merwin Hulbert mid frame .38 S&W DA revolver w/folding hammer.
Either of the rare 7 1/2 or 2 3/4 inch barrel will do just fine for putting together a 3 barrel set.
Sweet! I only know one other fella that even has a Merwin Hulbert. Is yours in shootin shape, or are you displayin it?

Did you get enough SNOW . We got about 6 inches .
brazosdave,
Yes, the revolve is fully functional and with the 3 1/2 inch barrel, shoots very well. I have not tried it with the 5 1/2 inch yet.
I also load all my .38 S&W ammo with black powder so I don't put the arm under any undue stress that may come from smokeless.
I also have a S&W DA .38 cal. with a 4 and a 6 inch barrel that I can interchange. (the Smith is a bit more of an effort to change out barrels)
What was surprising to me is that I also have a S&W 38-44 Target Mod., 7 1/2 inch barrel, New Model #3 that shoots this same ammo very well too.
Rowdy,
No snow for us but it was cld enough to make Some. I took four of my grandchildren skiing for the first time today. We all had a blast.
