I know that SPG is touted as the best commercial BP lube in existance, BUT has anyone out there ever used Lyman Black Gold and how well did it work?
Tallow/paraffin/beeswax is all I use.

I've used it and found that it is just as good as SPG. I've used it in my .45 Big Lube boolits and my .44 Mav Dutchman's, and they performed well. It also worked well with my .45-70 with both the 500 and 405 grain bolits.
Grapeshot, Thanks for the input. It is most helpful.
Like DGL better than SPG.

Lumpy Grits, What is DGL and wheere can it be obtained?
Google is your friend...

I like DGL, as SPG will 'bleed' in warm/hot weather and DGL has worked well for me down in the 30* range.
I shoot BPCR(Sharps).

Lumpy Grits, Thanks for the URL. It looks promising. BTW, how did you come up with the alias of Lumpy Grits? Inquiring minds want to know.
DGL is great for pan lubing. It also is a great smokeless lube. Makes a great 'chap-stick" refill also. ;D
Just get'n into SASS, got served a plate of them in Casa Grande AZ. on the way to my first shoot with a buddy of mine. The name just stayed with me ;D
