Title: Mexican Holster Rig
Post by: Jughead on January 14, 2012, 02:57:52 PM
New to forum and thought this might be of interest. I have seen other Mexican styled holsters like this but never as fancy. The buckles are sterling and hand made as are the initials.(http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg59/grillagracy/Holsters/DSCN0597.jpg),(http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg59/grillagracy/Holsters/DSCN0600.jpg),(http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg59/grillagracy/Holsters/DSCN0601.jpg),(http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg59/grillagracy/Holsters/DSCN0593.jpg),(http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg59/grillagracy/Holsters/DSCN0590.jpg),(http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg59/grillagracy/Holsters/DSCN0602.jpg)

Popular a little after WWI, it's called 'Piteado' and it's made with cactus spines.

You'll see them made for .45 autos, too.

You should post this on the 'Leather Forum' as well.

Vaya,

Scouts Out!
