PUK, Mate ... a super Christmas to you also.  Hope you made your Christmas pudding by the 25th day after the Trinity and dropped a silver coin in it before it gelled

Cheers and may 2012 be the Best New Year

Merry Christmas Dude!

I rewarded myself for chrissy, picked up an old half mag 32/20 model 1892 Winchester (for $200!) yesterday and the day before, we went to Sydney and picked up one of my Ruger Old Armies and one of my Pietta 44/40 Colt clones from an old guy that specialises in Black Powder and related stuff and also picked up my NMSBlackhawk which had it's barrel lopped to 7.5", it was an unweildy 10.5" which barely fitted in my pistol safe. All my guns are home! Now to do a heap of loading ready for the new year!

Now that I have my ROAs going, I will try and compete with them. They are make up guns, assembled from parts by Ruger to clear out stock. They were assembled by some simpleton (probably some poor sod on about $6 an hour!). He/she used the same screwdriver on the screws and the too small screwdriver slightly damaged the big screws on both guns and one gun locked up when I went to cock it to check the nipples. It must have been assembled incorrectly. I could have gotten it fixed under warranty, but we are not allowed to ship over state lines and must use a dealer, this would have ended up costing me a $100 minimum, so it was easier to just pay to get it done. As it tuned out, the old guy didn't charge me anything as it was just assembled incorrectly and I am a pretty good customer! Merry Christmas. I am keen to see how I will go with two cap and ball guns in cowboy action.
The Pietta had the second notch damaged  >:( by the original 'gunsmith' (also interstate,  :'( ) during the tuning process. It works like a Swiss watch now!

So, I'm a real happy camper! Merry Christmas all.
