The SHOT Show is upon us and the new 1911 Colt catalog is available online. In it you will find that they are indeed offering the return of th New Frontier. I saw nothing about a stainless SAA. SHOT Show reports are available at www.gunblast.com, where I saw a photo of the New Frontier. I suspect as they file their daily reports from the show, there will be more info on the New Frontier.
Yeah, but the bad part is if you read the Colt 2011 brochure, it states, "In 2011, all Single Action Army models will feature a 175th Anniversary Rollmark." I hope that doesn't include the New Frontier.

Picture posted last night on Gunblast indicate Colt is also bringing back the .380 Pocketlite. Guess they want to get in on the CCW .380 craze.
NEWSFLASH: the .380 frenzy has subsided and this will be the year of the micro 9mm. As usual, Colt is a day late & a dollar short. ::) ;)

If you look in the next document that Colt has listed directly under the 2011 Catalog, they have a "Colt 2011 Retail Price List" and in that document are listed several stainless steel Single Action models. The finish designation for stainless steel is: "STS"

Good pick-up. Isn't it interesting that the catalog makes no mention of a stainless model but it's on the price list. The .380 Pocketlite I mentioned is being shown at the SHOT Show but is in neither the catalog or the price list.
