A friend Cactus Cris gave me some of those little buggers and I loaded them up and shot them . WOW I like them. SOOOO for an early Christmas gift to myself I ordered 100 . Now I am loading them up and using the little 150 big lube's that I had left over from my boolit making days.
I am trying (fingers crossed here) to be able to shoot the Tonto Rim shoot coming up in the spring.

AJ invented a good thing with his Cowboy 45 Special brass. I should say re-invented. There are original chamberings so close to the C45Spl that it's worthy to be called "historically correct". I'm talkin' about the 46 rimfire here.
I love to shoot 'em loaded with 1.3cc of FFFg bp under the EPP-UG bullets out of my 1860 open tops via Kirst Konverter cylinders. They shoot like lasers to the exact POA.

I really would have rather loaded with real BP however it is a little hard to get here so I loaded with Pyrodex.
I had tried APP and over compressed it and it was like shooting a cannon. Back to BP or Pyrodex for me. LOL
Cannot wait to go test fire these little buggers.

Come on now Mason! If you have anything that is close to a road Fed-EX will bring you all the "REAL BP" you need. We need more shooters to start shooting the real stuff so that our children are not stuck with a pile of subs to choose from. Hodgdon appears to want Goex Powder to stop making the real thing so that they can sell all the fakes they stock. I was worried when Hodgdon purchased Goex and they are giving more reasons every day to show I'm correct. They first increased prices by about 21% then they have discontinued The Goex Cartridge powder which could almost shoot even with Swiss for about $8 a pound less. They then added Goex Cowboy to the list. I know that Capt. Baylor uses the fake stuff but he does use s little Cowboy to get it going. They have also stated that they might also stop production on other powders. To a person that is not a huge business person but knows that some companies are purchased so that they can fail and then be written off for tax purposes. Just makes you wonder if they care that Goex is the last American BP company that was once Dupont which without them this country might be speaking another language than English.

I still have one case of (The Real Stuff) I will only use in my Navies.
I Live on the Navajo Reservation and do not want to raise any eyebrows. So for no more than I shoot when I am in Prescott I pickup at Pyro and load the crap out of my shot shells with it. Still load my C&B with the real stuff till it runs out. And at this rate if I live to be 100 I will still have real bp LOL

The U.S. Gov'ment is the largest purchaser of real Black Powder in the world. I don't think it's going away any time soon. And as for cartridge being gone, we just bought a case directly from Goex last month. I can't tell you how because it's a secret (100% legal, we have an inside contact). I have a hard time telling the differece between that and 2F anyway. We just got a good deal on the Cartrige, thats all.
