Title: Forged file with Sambar handle

I'm finally getting time to finish some work.  Here is a knife I forged from a file.  The handle is Sambar stag.  OAL is 14 1/2" blade is a touch over 8".  Thanks for looking

i have a couple of farrier's rasps that i want to make into knives. can you share some thoughts on how to shape and heat treat
files/rasps and make into a quality product.
