Howdy all,
Anyone know of anyone making reloading tools for the 36 caliber guns? (URL Removed by admin, no longer valid.) Here is one I have found, but it is for .44's.
I have one I use, it don't look like the one in that photo, but it does work tolerable well......it camee with my pistol and is convienantly mounted under the barrel. ;)
Sorry Ruff, my attempt at humor.......since no one else is gonna get in here, I do not know of one for the 36, but it shouldn't be hard to adapt one....you'd need to turn the rammer down to fit....kind of like the difference in the ball rammer of the 1860 and 1861.....same part, but the 1861's is turned down to enter the 36 chamber.
Ruff- I tried one like the photo and didn't like it. Was easier to load while in the unit with a loading block that I made to fit the .36 61's and 51's. The one for my 60's didn't fit so I made a different one. Will go out and take a pic of it and put it in my next reply.
Tried to put the pic in but was too big- can send it email if ya wish.

OK - any new toys cause the forum has been very quite.
I found an 1878 Stevens Tip Up in 32 Long Rim Fire and brass and Ideal 299193 bullets for it. Loaded with 11gr FFFg, it chronographs at 1030 fps
I like Dick Dastardly's Tower of Power loading stand. The base pin and jag are replaceable.

Thanks for the flowers Frisco,
I've been selling a good number of TOP stands "down under". Seems the Australians like them. So do the Europeans, UK and Canadians. They continue to move nicely here in the good old USA also. When it comes to loading bp cylinders the TOP stands really do shine.
Keep the bushings (there are two of them) lightly oiled and the stands should last a lifetime.

Now wait just a durn minute here folks. Let us first understand my Caveat!!!! I'm lazy. I don't like extra complication. I also shoot Snubbies as my main match artillery. .44 Snubbies and .36 Snubbies. When I first got into Snubbies, I also discovered the Internationally Famous Dirty Dick Dastardly TOWER of POWER!! Included with your Tower of Power are TWO Ball Punches. One for .44 and one for .36. Takes just a few seconds to change over from .44 to .36 or Vers Vicey. Really simple and Easy. Refer to my Caveat: Lazy. Because I'm lazy, I have 2, yes, thats TWO or ZWEI Towers of Powers. One set for .44 with the appropriate Ram Stops and one set for 36 with the appropriate Ram Stops.
So if your interested in ownership of the Finest off the gun Cylinder Loading Stand on the PLANET, snap up a TOWER of POWER.!!
This has been an Unsolicited Shameless Testimonial and PLUG of the Tower Of Power. Try it ..... You'll LOVE IT (or else)
Dick Dastardly's pal SMEDLEY!! :o
PS: Happy New Year!!
I load on a Powder inc press .
It does the 44 and the 36 caliber cylinders .
And there is always the DD Tower of Power press .
I would assume it also does both cylinders too.
