The Hidecrafter pattern set is from Jim Simmons...if I remember correctly they used several different Doc Holliday shoulder rigs in Tomstone

Rick, it's synthetic Ivory. Looks very real and even feels like the real thing.

Ned, Do you have a source for the Sin. Ivory? I would love to get some to make grips for two of my Pistols but can't find a source where I can buy it.

Amin, not big enough pieces to make grips from. Normally it is sold in slabs about 1/4" thick and 1 1/2" wide just for knives.

Isn't the shoulder holster a movie rig? Is there any information on what he really wore?

The only info I have is that he actually used a SAA Colt with a 7 1/2" barrel

Hey Outrider.
I keep finding info that stated he carried a nickle plated revolver that appeared to be a .41 caliber Colt Lightning while in Tombstone, but no confirmation to prove it. Just gibberish on the net! I believe the nickle plated gun was said to have been given to Doc by Bat Masterson Be cool to find pics of him with his guns on or some solid proof of what his guns were. Only picl I've ever seen is the same head shot photo of Doc. The movie rig is way cool either way though! Tombstone was an awesome movie!  ;D
