I hope Santa Claus brings me a fancy SxS 12ga. shotgun and a nickel plated Baretta Scholfield revolver for Christmas. If not, enough money to put them on layaway.

I sure would like to have two 7 1/2 inch USFA pre war 44/40's and a 66 yellowboy carbine in 44/40. Would sure be nice. But above all, hope that all have plenty and there will be peace through out the world.  MERRY CHRISTMAS. Tj

World peace....,  :-\  no no ...., instead make that three buffalo hides, an original Sharps pp .50 mold and 1000 large rifle primers. Yeah, that'd be the ticket.  :)

Dear Santa:

My needs are simple:

1)  Please help Coyote Cap finish the chrome job on my 97 shotgun some time soon.  That old guns been gone a while, and I'm startin' to miss her.

2)  I'd like to put in a request for fair weather for the NCOWS Nationals.

3)  Make sure all my primers ignite this year, even the ones with light strikes.

4)  1 large bag of jerk meat with lots of pepper.

5)  If you got a spare Gatlin' . . . or even a replica, I'd be happy just to borrow it for a spell.

Hey Pancho:

Dixie Gun Works has your Gatling for a mere $47K. Just tell the Mrs. that you need it for that "new event that's coming up!" LOL!

Be seeing you all down the line, doing that shootin' thing.

TLD:

CDNN still has a few NIB Beretta Laramies at closeout prices (since they've been discontinued).  Oklahoma Tom gets dealer pricing from them.  You might contact him and see what's up.  OT also has a REALLY nice Cimmaron hammered SxS at his shop.  (Temptation, temptation, temptation . . .  ;D)

Pancho, think I will skip the Gatling gun from Dixie. Think how much ammo that would take. Of course I guess if I could afford the $47,000 ammo would be no problem. Think I'll stick with the USFA's 44/40's and the yellowboy carbine. They cost a lot but closer to what I might be able to have SOMEDAY!! Tj

They've got a 1/3 scale Gatling gun for sale on the Guns America website. It shoots .22 shorts and only costs a mere $14,995. Pancho, those things sound tempting.

Santa shows up every year and always brings me wonderful toys.  I got stuff that would make Batman jealous, but those Russians are really elusive.  Santa says I can get them when they become available, but he points out that he hires elves to make toys for little girls and boys, not gunsmiths to make toys for big kids....dammit.

He's bringing my wife a set of Lincoln Logs, but don't tell her I know.  ;)

Out of the clear blue sky . . .

my wife and I went out to breakfast this a.m. and were going over our Christmas shopping lists to make sure we have not forgotten anyone. She said that I was the only one she had not gotten anything for as of yet.
And I'm sure pigs started to fly somewhere under a blue moon because she went on to say. . . ."is there some gun that I wanted?"

It took me a moment to swallow the mouthful of breakfast without choking and calmly replied "Oh yes."

(It was after we got home that she showed me the $11.00 fake diamond she had gotten to replace the void on her finger left by the loss of her wedding diamond earlier this year when she and the girls were in Denmark. She had slipped crossing the street and threw her hand out to catch herself from falling to the pavement. When she got back to the hotel room was when she noticed the stone was missing from the setting. I saved the mounting and have it in hand to go to the jewellers as I type. ;))

I agree with Slim.  If you have those two, the rest will pretty much take care of themselves.

Merry Christmas to all and good health and prosperity to all my NCOWS pards.

I sure hope you meant prosperity, Slim.  I got more posterity than I can afford already.

Whirled Peas?

;)

I'll be happy if cancer like they removed doesn't show back up somewhere else.

A new roof.  (Or the money for it.)

Now for the truly IMPORTANT things:

A long (26" or so) barrel for my old Tula TOZ 12 ga. double gun.

A Trailrider authentic Indian Wars era belt with all pertinent add-ons; i.e. saber hangers, pistol rounds pouch, Sam Browne strap, open crossdraw holster in addition to the half-flap main holster.

And most of all:  Success and good fortune for all my friends, family and CAS friends.

May our friends, pards, and family enjoy health and prosperity.
May there be plenty of good opportunities and good luck with financial dealings.
May the bad guys aim poorly when they're after us and may our bullets find their targets every time we shoot.
May our guns not break.
May there be good weather for our matches.
May we live life appreciating what we've got, but without failing to seek to improve it.
May we be known for our kindness, integrity and honor.
May we be the kind of people that truly are missed when we hit the end of *this* trail.

Dang, that sounds like the prayer of some saint. Hmmmm. Saint Cockroach Kid. That has kind of a nice ring to it.

My wife won't buy me any guns and I have bought too many for myself this past year, so I will use my wish to second Steel Horse's first wish. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year full of nothing but good news.

How about a USFA Premium in 44wcf with a black powder frame and a El Paso rig to carry it in .
