Tintype of lumberjacks or at least guys ready to chop wood.

Note the differances in the handles of the axes.  I heard most those guys made their own handles to the scecs that worked best for them.

I would say that this pic is very late 19th Cen. or early 20th Cen.   Most 19th Cen. handles were straight.  Great picture anyhhow!! :D ;D
