You are correct. It is taken care of then?
Pete
Yup!

I have just confirmed today that Tandy Leather will be doing a Leather Crafting Seminar for us at the Convention.
If you would like to learn about leatherwork, think up a project you would like to make, and they will show you how.
Pre-registration will be required for this event.
Prices are unknown at this time, we will work that out as we see what you folks want to make.
Think holsters, guns belts, cuffs, spur straps, etc.
GB
With my flight arriving at 5:00PM Friday, I hope I can make it to the congress meeting in time.
Brian
The band that will play for the Ball sat. eve is the Tall Grass Express. The same group of musicians who played in the convention center last year have all expressed interest in comming back, so there should be fine ongoing entertainment.

James Country Traders
Grip Maker
H. B. Leather
The Leather Guy
Kansas Jack
Kyle Ann Hunter [The tredle sewing machine lady]
D. P. Birch

Sounds great guys, with even more (I'm sure) to come. Bound to be a bang-up time.
Many thanks for all your hard work on this.
Another perk for this years conventiion:
As new NCOWS members are signed up at the convention, thier name will be put in a bucket, hat or something, and at the end of the convention two names will be drawn for a "complete" outfit. More accurately a $ 200 gift certificate for one male and one female new member.
This is cortesy of Work-N-Ranch and one of their suppliers.
Books
What a great incentive to join NCOWS at the convention.
We have had donated to us a Taurus Thunderbolt rifle, which will be raffled off at the Convention.
Tickets will be $5 each, or 5 for $20.

Looks like Pat and I will be able to make this years convention after all. We just booked our rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn, they have some rooms left. Rob, put us down for dinner Thursday night. I'll think I will bring my video camera and tape as much as I can of it.....
Bill
Griz: put me down for two spots at the Golden Ox. Jeff Farmer and I should be arriving Thursday afternoon late.
Griz'
haven't checked with Yuma City Kid, but I know he will be feelin' a might peckish toward Thursday evening, so may as well put in for two spaces at the trough.
RCJ
RCJ,
The Golden OX is NOT a trough! It is a little bit of heaven! BUT, we will let you come anyway!! ;D
MT Chambers and I are Ciphering to possibility of Flying out the KC.
Looks like Flights from Orlando might be as low a $118 ... $146 ...what are the Hotel rooms running ?
I could take my Vacation (I think) in late March....
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong , but I think $82 & tax. we'd sure be proud if you came all the way from FL.

No.....I'm just gonna walk around and video as much of the convention as I can.
Bill
It is $82 + tax at the Hilton Garden Inn, but you must tell them that you are with NCOWS to get the rate. The phone number is 913-342-7900. The hotel manages the Convention center and they really worked hard to make the event a big success last year!
I made my reservations last fall, but unfortunately I had to cancel them a couple weeks ago. My new job has me working weekends, can't reschedule, and I'm not eligible for vacation or pers. time yet. So Megan and I will not be there this year. Be sure to post plenty of pictures, mebbe a video or two.
Guns
Sorry to hear that GG , that will make it hard to shoot weekends too. We'll miss you!
(Damn; They were my best customers. >:( )

Okay, I'll try to make up for their not being able to be there ;) Guns it's tough when our jobs interfere with our fun. I guess during these rough times we just have to be happy to have jobs :(

MT is going to Wichita Falls, KS. in the next weeks to see his folks ( Mom is turning 80 )
Lewis Elliott might do the Nat'l shoot ..I might get some extra free time in June ...but I'm locked in to the Apr. 20 -24 vacation slot now.
Time is running out for the NCOWS Convention!
We must have your registrations in by next Wednesday, March 18.
Grizzle Bear
By registering on line, I got $81.00 per night, of that I will be reimbursed all but $2.00, plus the additional fees for Kansas City. On the down side, I am paying for my flight & rental car.

Has the schedule of seminars been finallized yet? Maybe I missed the schedule somewhere. Just wondering and making plans for a great weekend!! Thanks to all who are working so hard !!!
Howdy everybody! The wife & I are looking forward to seeing everybody in KC, although it's going to be a bit longer drive getting there. Instead of being about an hour or so away from the convntion we are now about 14 or 15 hours away. We still need to come back to Kansas to take care of some stuff like cleaning more junk out of our old house so we can sell it, etc. We are sure sure enjoing the western slope of Colorado! I'll see you all at the convention. I'll be the guy playing guitar and singng cowboy songs while trying to not be too distracted wondering how much my Lady is fixing to spend at the various vendors... Later...
Davey Ray
Bad news..and sad news for me... Marshal and I are not going to get to come. He has to be in California for about 6 days and it hits right square on that weekend. We originally thought he was to be there the following week.. but it was changed . He HAS to be there.. so I'm afraid we are going to miss all the fun. :'(
I have canceled our reservations . Thanks for all you all do to go out for your way for us..We appreciate it so much.
Once again.. Have a great time everyone . I know you will and maybe we will get to go to Gaf Muster.. :-\
Well the best laid plans of mice and men........here I was hoping to surprise my fellow NCOWS Cas City residents with a chance to met the wo of you. :'( :'( :'( No excuses next year. :)

Even though it is a longer distance for us to travel now that we are living on the western slope of Colorado than it was when we were in NE Kansas, we hope we can come back next year. Later...
Davey
Davey Ray,
I spent most of the Convention sitting at the NCOWS table across the isle from you this week-end. I must say I really enjoyed listening to you! I love them Marty Robbins songs.
Yuma
It sure was good to see you (and hear you) again, Davey.
Already looking forward to next year...
Hey, thanks. We are looking forward to next year. In the near future I need to get some more stuff loaded in my trailer at our old house in Kansas so we can get headed back to western Colorado. Later...
