In conversation with Walt Kirst today, I asked him about the Kirst Konvertors for the Remington Pocket.
You see the problem Walt was having with them not functioning properly was that Pietta's tolerances were all over the map.
Well Walt said he spoke with Alessandro? Pietta last week at the SASS convention, over the phone, and was told that the new steel frame pistols were here. Now supposedly the bugs have been worked out. Walt is trying to procure examples from the start, middle and end of the production run to R and D.
Hopefully this will take care of the bugs and the Kirst Konvertors will work in the new pistols ;D

That's great news. The steel framed Pietta '63 pocket I have is a little sloppy.
Were you able to ask him about what we were discussing on the .44 Colt converters and ejector rods?
Regards
JW
