The below personnel have volunteered for and been assigned to the designated duties:
Bvt Lt Col Dr. Bob, GAF Awards Officer. The Awards Officer will be responsible for updating the awards roster and keeping track of new requests for the Star of Merit.
Bvt Lt Col Eagle Eyes Jefferson, GAF Enlistment Officer. The Enlistment Officer will be responsible for entering new enlistments, keeping the membership roster up to date, and providing the same to the Department Commanders for their use.
We will shortly make the changes to the GAF Website so that future enlistments and awards requests are automatically sent to the responsible officers for their necessary actions.
My intent is that once we have caught up on the backlog and have our admistrative issues running smoothly, we will consolidate both positions back into the GAF Adjutant under one of these officers, and reassign the second officer to other essential duties within the GAF. As we continue to grow, we find new things that need to be done, so no volunteer will go unused for very long.

My recommendation is to keep the two positions. All that work for one person is VERY tough...

You certainly know from experience, and I will keep that in mind if the two office holders concur once they get into it. Its certainly more important that we maintain our records accurately and efficiently than it is to fill out a block chart.

The biggest issue will be synchronizing the copy of the database as input is received. I still have my copy of the GAF database. I can send it to you. It is written in Access2000. We can discuss things further offline...
