I have one and would like to know more about it.
Are these reliable, can they be slicked up?

CAI is the importer. The key to a decent repro model 97 is the serial number prefix. I bought 1 which was manufactured in 2000...MANY problems. My gunsmith got it working but I just don't trust it. This year I bought one from the distributer, IAC which was made in 2006...completely different gun. I suggest you go into Coyote Cap's website...Lot's of info on the 97, the 93/97, and the 87. Cap is the premier expert on these guns. Here's the link:
