Title: Closer to a better Spencer... (Sharps for sale)
Post by: Tuolumne Lawman on May 30, 2007, 01:43:32 PM
Howdy to the camp,

Well, I have almost raised enough to pay off one of Major 2's original 1860 Spencers that I bought from him. It was used in the Lincoln (Gregory Peck) scene of Blue and Grey, and a bunch of other movies. I still need to raise about $640, so I am selling my Taylor's/Armi Sport 1863 paper cartridge Sharps .54 caliber carbine:

The Sharps was only lightly used in three re-enactments last year, and cleaned thouroughly every day. It is almost like new, and has never been on horseback! It is in excellent condition!

It is an Armi-Sport 1863, 99.9%. It comes with the chamber removal tool, and a Tony Bagdon N-SSA bullet mold (never used). I gave $745 plus shipping a year ago for the Sharps, $10.00 for the removal tool, and $85 for the N-SSA sharps mold specifically for this Armi Sport Sharps. It also has two cones nipples: One drilled out for blanks, and one factory for live ammo (another $6)

I guess I have about $850 into everything. I will sell it UPS ground shipping and insurance included for PRICE NOW $630 INCLUDING SHIPPING! Send me a PM or email me at <imarangemaster@yahoo.com>

If it doesn't sell at this price, I will keep it.
