Go to the GAF Muster that is...
I am not looking for committement right now unless you want to give it, but I am thinking of food and other niceities...Who's considering coming?
Who is going to take a shot at being the Iron Trooper.....The most difficult title to earn in all of CWAS.
2004: Tame Bill/Colonel Diamond (There was a little mix up in scoring so I awarded 2)
2005: Shootn Newton
2006: Major Matt Lewis (I hate that guy)
2007: ???
But of course!
I'm still torqued about missing this year's Grand Muster.

Santa is bringing me a 58 Remmie and a spare cylinder, I will bring my sharps, and might try and shoot the CW veteran class or the military class or what ever you want to call it. Might have to take the tang sight off of the sharps since at 25 yards it kind of gets in the Way. Last year this was my last shoot and it was a real pleasure meeting all those from the GAF.
I borrowed, begged and sort of swiped a couple of Pistolas for the side match this past year and caught the fever.
Vaya Con Dios and Merry Christmas!
Both me an the Missus will be there. I'm debating as to what class/uniform I will compete in. I'm keeping my eye out for a good Krag long rifle - haven't found one for under a grand yet. As far as a Winchester-Lee - fuggetaboutit!
I saw the General's tasking for me on the other post - Aye,aye, sir! I will prepare/educate myself accordingly.

My wife has talked about coming to shoot in a late 1800's-period style Army nurse's uniform.
A shootin' NURSE!?!?!?!?!?
Why not?
MG
That would be a great idea. or a copy of that special uniform Dr. Mary Walker was photographed in.
Count me in as usual! Maybe I will get in a little practice beforehand this year. And maybe I can locate a Henry in 44 Spl since the 92 is off to Nate Jones' next week.
Merry Christmas and a joyous/prosperous 2007 from Guerilla country.

MG,
here's a nice site that gives some ideas for women in uniform.

Son will have graduated, so no high school football. Went to GMMCS encampment last year ::) looks like this year I should go to the muster again ::) ;D When and where is it?
RC John:
Very much obliged for all of that Army nurse info. That is great stuff
No way she could pose as a soldier (no female troops back them), but as a nurse she oughta be more close to appearin' "authentic".
Col Pitspitr:
I sent ya a PM. It is about CSG.
