PERSONAL ATTACKS
Do not make personal attacks anywhere on our forum and in PMs. Comment on content, not on the contributor. Personal attacks do not help make a point; they only hurt our community and deter users from reading and posting. Derogatory comments about another contributor may be removed by any moderator. Repeated or egregious personal attacks may lead to blocks or banning. If moderators and administrators have to spend any of their volunteered time dealing with personal disagreements, we will consider a banning of all parties involved.

COMMERCIAL POSTINGS
Cas City is a community and a website that is provided as a resource of information and promotion of our sport. Cas City Vendors (advertisers) support and contribute financially to make this site available to you. The same goes for the contribution from owners of the site and moderators who spend a lot of their free time to maintain the forum.
This support would not last long if we allowed others to post commercial messages, thus undermining the paid advertising of those that make this site available. Our advertising rates are very moderate and there are no reason to try to take advantage of our forum by trying to post outside the scopes of the guidelines below.

If you sell products or services, part time or full time, the following rules apply, except directly to site advertisers and sponsors:

Do not initiate posts or discussion on or refer to your business.
Do not discuss product pricing or availability of products.
It is acceptable to use your company's web site address as the Home Page URL in your profile. You may also have a link to your web site in your signature, but no banners or graphics are allowed.
Advertising or soliciting for any activity that may be construe as commercial is not allowed.
Any vested interest in a company, product, or service must be disclosed. If you receive products or services for free or at a discounted rate, you must publicly disclose this when you post regarding those products or services and/or competitors. Any type of vested interest that could cause for a biased opinion must be disclosed.

Posts outside the scope of these rules may be edited or deleted without warning. Continued disregard for these rules may result in removal from the forum. If you have any questions about commercial postings, contact Marshal H.

****************
Note that it is impossible for us to confirm the validity of posts on this forum. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages on a daily basis and are not responsible for their content. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information presented. The messages express the views of the author, not necessarily the views of this forum. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify the administrators or moderators of this forum immediately.
****************
DISCLAIMER RELOADING:  We allow members the exchange of reloading ideas, techniques and loads. However, under NO circumstances does the publication of any specific load(s) on the board indicate a recommendation of data published. The caution(s) mentioned in the reloading manuals of starting 10% below any recommended load(s) and working your way up apply in spades! Both experienced and inexperienced reloaders, PLEASE consult the available commercial reloading manuals. It is easy to make mistakes when typing, so view any data published in a post with common sense and suspicion... If it doesn't sound right, it probably isn't! CasCity.com assumes NO responsibility for any loads published.
****************
We have the rights to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy goes for member profile information as well.
****************
You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum, and any related websites to this forum. We at CasCity.com also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any information we have about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any information posted by you.
****************
You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username and to use your alias in SASS and other shooting organizations. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another member, for your protection and for validity reasons. ****************
Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.
****************
Actions that will be taken when in violation of forum rules are as follows:

1. Warning...
This is where a non public announcement (PM) is made to a member advising him or her to follow the forum rules and reestablish a conduct and communication that is representative for our community.
When a warning is considered, it will also be determined whether the member knew what he was doing was wrong or whether a warning is necessary to explain it do him. After this is considered, we may skip ahead to the next step on the action list.

2. Temporary muting ....
This is where the member will not  be able to post on the forum or send PMs for a certain period of time. Call it a cooling off period and a time to read the rules, rethink their actions and get themselves back on track. The member may still log on and read posts. If this action has been taken, the member will see a notification on the forum when logged in.

4. Banning....
If it is obvious that the person will never respect the rules, a permanent ban is necessary.
