They raise a lot of chickens in the Wayne area, I have friends up there, never went to the chicken days, it started as a joke and has grown to be famous all over the world.  It draws in a lot of money for the town.  Me, not my kind of event. ;D

How ever when writing one of my artiles for "The Shootist" I needed to know how to neuter a rooster, (capon) a quick call to Wayne and I had an answer. ;)

Rollin', Rolling', Rollin',
Rollin', Rolling', Rollin',
Rollin', Rolling', Rollin',
Rollin', Rolling', Rollin',
Rawhide!

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
Though the streams are swollen,
Keep them chickens rollin',
Rawhide!

Rain and wind and weather
Hell bent for leather
Wishin' my gal was by my side
All the things I'm missin
Good griddles love and kissin'
Are waitin at the end of my ride.

Move em' on,
Head em' up,
Move em' on,
Rawhide!
Cut em' out
Ride em' in
Cut em' out,
Ride em' in
Rawhide!

Keep movin', movin', movin'
Though their dissaprovin',
Keep them chickens movin'
Rawhide!

Don't try to understand them,
Just rope, roll and brand em'
Soon we'll be livin' high and wide.
My heart's calculatin'
My true love will be waitin',
Be waitin' at the end of my ride.

Move em' on,
Head em' up,
Move em' on,
Rawhide!
Cut em' out
Ride em' in
Cut em' out,
Ride em' in
Rawhide!

Move em' on,
Head em' up,
Move em' on,

Cut em' out
Ride em' in

Sounds good, I'll take some, steam them, put on some melted butter and just a touch of red wine vinegar. ;D

Sod Buster stops by the Sodbuster Township and loads his wagon with a couple bushels of snap peas and delivers them to Del.

NO!  If it turns too much, then:

Yup, make a pocket in the dough and pack in the veggies & cheese.  Then boil or deep fry (some also sautee and/or microwave  :P).
These are deep fried.

Maybe a fried blueberry pierogi for dessert.  ;D
