Well, by squinting my eyes and staring at that absurdly small picture my first guess would be a tooth.  Buuuuut since you had to ask, my somewhat unclean mind immediately spat out another alternative.  I shan't say it here.

tell ya what if ya ever make it out here, we'll cook one up,  I have an aunt that can cook one where he won't be greasy and it does taste good or we might have a little rattlesnake,  they taste like a fried squirrel, 

or we might just go down to the BBQ joint and eat all the ribs we can hold
