Sod Buster, still remembering how he didn't use a glove on Trinity's horse in the Nebrassky thread, rolls up his sleeve and smears some of that bait on his arm.  He proceeds to start noodling for catfish in the river.

<Author's note:  I can't do it to Sodbuster, if this was Slim or litl rooster I would have them grab onto a 60 pound snappin' turtle which would then grab on to them.>

The noodler never knows for sure what's in the hole he's probing. It might be a catfish, a snapping turtle, a beaver or a snake.

I was over on Grand lake in north east Oklahoma, saw a kid about 9-10, going along a rock bluff noodling, he had a rope tied aroung his waist,  his dad was over on the bank holding onto the other end, just in case something big got the kid, I guess.

they'd probably arrest the dad today for that.

me neither,

 but I'll tell ya what we found the other night when we went to the catfish house,  on their food bar, they had chicken fried frog legs, you talk about good,  now I could go for some more of them.
