Low 80's here today and maybe rain later.  Got the desktop up and running, got an escape from game shows and other such nonsense.

That old woman won't admit it but she is as deaf as I am and listens to her TV as loud as I listen to my music.  ;D

Going to work more on the kitchen today.

Steak tonight, she is having T-Bone I am having Yellow Fin.

A good place to disagree, among other things she likes her steak undercooked and her fish over cooked. ::)

Remember anyone can half cook a steak, few can actually cook it. ;) ;)

Steak is a bit of a different kind of Rare @ my Casa.
Local prices are pasture robbery, "SHE" shops meats on sale so, maybe twice a month?
Tonight happens to be one of those, I have a NY Strip I'll broil  :) NO cool pink center either.

Rain on radar all around here, and maybe a shower here about 5pm-ish. currently 91°.

I just can't seem to catch a break, Last month my mom totaled her mini van, Friday I had to take her to ER due to some internal bleeding, Yesterday on my way back from feeding my sons pets some idiot turned left in front of me and this happened. Then I end up taking my wife to the ER because she was having pain in her chest from the seatbelt, But when they checked her out they found she was in A-fib so they had her in there until 11:00pm. They gave her some meds to take, but the 2 week supply cost $157.00. I'm going to have to fight with the guys insurance company to get my car fixed (of course it's the same company as the last person that turned left in front of me a couple years ago) And I have a 3 day shoot that's all paid for coming up. I just wish something, anything would go my way for once.

If you need more meds, try using GoodRX. Even with excellent insurance we use it to bring med costs down.

Also Try yelling at the Hospital Director of Patient Services.
Bring up
“cost transparency”
“Hospital Blue Book Prices”
Comparison of med costs against “GoodRX”

They will often reduce the bill if you complain.
Then mention taking the whole thing to AARP, your local congress critter, and an Elder Advocate Lawyer.

The hospital bluee book is all about lso called “list prices” then the negotiated discounted price they charge insurance companies. YOU should be able to get that discounted price.

Sorry about your misfortunes, and good luck

You and your wife are in our thoughts & prayers.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Thank you to all Y'all for the kind words and support.,
I just needed to vent. Tomorrow starts the battle with the guys insurance company. I've dealt with them before and they WILL pay to fix my car.
