Im still up here freezing in ct,thinkiing is this a new ice age! I still dream of meeting a women and she says "Lets go to Texas" Its a lot warmer down there"

If you guys could toss a few good thoughts to Kent England, a good friend from the Lab board is right in the middle of that nasty gales and flooding, he's high enough he's safe, but it is a mess.

Howdy y'all,

Hope everyone is keepin' warm an' dry in this latest round of storms.
 
Checked in on my pop in SC & they're gettin' sn*w & ice as well. Like Atlanta they aren't used to it.....
Spent the last mo. over in FL & he wants to go back!! Needs a surgery 1st in Charlotte for a "reconstructive vocal cord" (prolly the 5th or so of those) on Mon. so he can't blow town...

Had a good rain  over last week-end & hopefully gettin' that water table up. Sn*w stayed on the mountain like it should.

Anyways....

Got my Amazon permanent job today & had to switch to day shift. Got a phone call last night whilst sitting on their property not to report but they were too late...Tolt to come in 0700 this am. Course since workin' nites for the last 18 mo. was hard to right to sleep like normal. Pointed that out that I wasted $10 in gas & got meself compensated today. What happened to an earlier phone call?

Pickin' orders will be my drills & plenty of walkin' 'round the place to fulfill orders. Wed.- Sat. 0700-1730 will be my hours.

Glucosamine has been my "wonder juice for squeaky" hip sockets.

Seems my BG check was held up by a "bond" for banking I had in 2 counties. One of 'em was too dang slow in repsondin' in CA...no surprise..........My temp hours were up last week & I was gettin' worried they could "kick me to the curb". Seen it happen to others.....

Swiss steak, mashed taters & veggies on my plate. A full tummy should help me sleep hopefully....

It missed, thankee. Rain started 1830-1900 er so. Just wet ‘n rainy now. Warmed up a bit. Sumthin' took the power out 'round three. Freakin' alarm went off. Sleep kinda got messed up.

43° ‘n 97%. Rain. High near 44°. Northwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. Tanight: rain, snow and sleet likely before midnight then a chance of snow with a low around 30°. Blustery, with a west wind 16 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Havin a heat wave - it's 34 now & 'spected to get up to 45.

Got a call last night said there was a warrant for the Wife's arrest. Seems she failed to appear for a grand jury that she never received notice for. Found out they sent it to an address we moved away from a dozen years ago, but they still expect her to show up in court about it. Have to post bail today to keep her out of jail in the mean time ::)

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning.This cold is really hanging on. The lungs are still conjested.  I need to fix myself something to eat this morning. It is supposed to get in the 60s today and in the 70s by tomorrow. It is cloudy.
