« on: November 30, 2012, 08:57:29 PM »
Anyone ever heard of a 1849 with "Heartford" stamped on the top of the barrel? Who made them? Any ideas?

Dixie Gun Works imported a 49 Hartford made by Palmetto...Brescia, Italy.
"Track of the Wolf"  & Dixie may still carry some parts  :-\
Tho' VTI may be your best bet.
when planets align...do the deal !

Thanks for the answers! The shop wants $115.00 for it. May pick it up to play with this winter. The action seemed a lil bit rough, If I can't get it up & running I will part it out or sell it off whole. Hope it's worth it.
