Howdy folks!

We receive a lot of requests about where to post and why posts are moved to other boards.

This forum is a living community and we try our best to organize the discussions the best way possible. Right now, I am in the middle of writing a little memo on how to understand how the forum is set up and organized. Also how we can all help out to improve it. This will be helpful especially for the moderators but also for the members.

Before I am done with this and with valuable advise from the moderators, remember this. If a topic is moved, please don't consider it as something negative. Yes, I do understand that everyone wants their topic or thread to be highlighted and seen by as many as possible, but have in mind that we all have different interests and have different motivations when using a forum. We have to take all this under consideration.

The Longbranch is the most visited board and long threads here is also tough on the server and slows down the forum. This is also something we have to take into consideration.

We do our best to please all of you and we aim to be an all including CAS community where everyone can find their field of interest, even NON-CAS.

Thank you for your understanding.

This is a quote of the description from the introduction to the "Longbranch" section of Cas Topics,
"The social quarters for cowboy, western & mounted shooters. Play a "game of cards" and talk about the sport in general. Some posts may be moved if it is a CAS topic or non cas topic that has a home on other boards."

Based on my opion only, "CAS Topics" means subjects related to CAS/WAS and its historical time periods.
If your post does not fit within these descriptive or introductive parameters'... find another place to post it.
It seems pretty simple to me?

God is forgotten and the soldier slighted"
