our 'ole pard Latigo Joe is scheduled for a total hip replacement on September 19th 2012. Here's wishing him a speedy recovery.
The main thing to remember,is not to get excited!

bet he was shootin some d-bills bp shotshells from the hip thats why he needs it replaced.heal up we got shooten to do.jefff

Hope LJ heals up as fast as my pa did with his. He was up and walking on a cane in 10 days and off the cane in 3 weeks.

Latigo Joe got his brand spankin' new left hip today. Mrs. Judy said the doctors told him he will not have any pain what so ever. not till tomorrow anyway. they hope to send him home Friday. who knows, they may see ya'll out in Texas in October.

well, the Doc was right on with the prognosis. Latigo Joe didn't feel any pain till the next day. he sorta misses that little morphine pump that he had in the hospital. the physical therapist came by and ole' Latigo was already out of the house and on the front porch. looks like we gonna have a rapid recovery if he can keep Mrs Judy from tucking him in. ya'll can ask him about that when ya'll see 'em again.
