Tascosa Joe and his wife, Wiley West, Snake Doc and his son, Cockroach Kid, Hoss Jack, Tom Jack and I manned the table. Pancho set tthe table up on Friday. On Sunday we had 30 plus people stop and visit. Every one took a business card. Most said they were planninng on coming out to check it out as they were very interested. We were the only WAS club present. A pard of mine who is a Cowboy Shooting Rep to the TSRA stopped by to say that attending shows like this one is what he believed was responsible for the grwoth of his former SASS club. That club was at one time the second largest SASS club in the nation.
In addition to the DVD that Bill put together, we had an array of pistols that spanned the Colt production from the 1849 through the 1873 Model P. Plus Lemats, Remingtons and S&W's. SxS's 1887's and 1897's shotgun display Henry's 66's &3's Sharps etc.
The display got lots of attention and qestions.
Cost us $90 and three memberships would turn us a profit! Thanks to everyone for their help.
