Hi,

Just for grins I tried to sign into the new SASS Website ....

When I put in my email address and tried to register, I was told by the site that I was 'already registered'

Yet when I tried to login, I was told that my 'account was not confirmed', and to stand by for an email ......

Well I have been 'standing by' for over an hour ... and no email.

Does this kinda remind you of the name of a group ... like 'Asleep At The Wheel'?

Anyone else having problems?
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

My experience there was poor at best. I was constantly called names, my ideas were attacked and I experienced several personal attacks in posts and through messages. I have no reason to go back.

Franklin I know what you mean. I posted some "discussions" on the use of short stroke kits and was yelled down about how "period" guns really worked. They tried to tell me that short strokes were the way the old ones worked. I was shown some pictures of guns with their levers at a 60 degree angle or shorter and was told that was proof that they were that way originally. When I tried to post some videos I found on people shooting the real thing and showing that the lever went past 90 degrees I was unable to do so as one of the people who started an attack on me had locked the thread. See, she was a admin of the forum and was able to shutdown the discussion when it appeard she and her buddy would be proven wrong. The only thing I could do was delete the whole thread so it didn't look like their statements were facts. I even got a video of Evil Roy stating that the original 1866, 1873 and other lever action rifles operated exactly like the unmodified reproductions. I was threatened with having my account removed and told I was a troublemaker.

Be careful on there. They don't like it when people don't agree with them.
