Howdy.

Through a set of circumstanced I ended up with a new EMF Californian II in .45 Colt.  The CCH is nothing like I have every seen in that it is grey, black and bronze.  Just wondering if this is normal or an anomaly?

I'll try to insert two photos.  No - no success on the insert.  I'l have to attach them, but they'll be a bit small I think.  Sorry.

Thanks,
KW

Both my Uberti and ASM as well as my Rossi rifle have some bronze in the case hardened area but not much. The bronze colored tint on mine is between the darker and lighter areas. I am really in love with the case hardened look and have it on all my guns for NCOWS. I wished I could find a shotgun with it but so far no luck and I stuck with blued only.

The CCH on EMF's gunz in the past couple of years have that "bronze" cast to them. It looks kind of neat.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the info.  I didn't know if I had one in a million or whether there was something wrong with the finish.
