NCOWS 2011 Convention

If you folks are planning on attending the Banquet/Dance you need to get you registrations sent in. At the end of next week I will send in the head count and after that it will be too late.

For the last 3 years we have hovered around 100 attendees. So far this year I only have 44 signed up.

Joe & Roger; You are both confirmed. Convention Passes cover all events all weekend (except dinner at the Golden Ox) for
$ 56.50

Yes, you and Ted Beechler are confirmed.

We are still at less the half of last years attendance. If we hit approxamately 100 we should break even. We established rates accordingly, because for the last several years we have exceded that number.

All right all of you procrastinators*; Get you checks in the mail PDQ.

If I don't have your $$ by the close of business on the 12th of March, you will not have a meal at the Banquett.

I do not wish to sound like an <$$, but I have to have the meal count in a week in advance. So get you registration in the mail today or tomorrow at the latest. (If you wait any longer I will not buy the blaming the Post Office excuse.)

Books, All,
Due to scheduling conflicts my Shooting Pard Eastern Earl & I won't be able to attend the Convention this year but are starting to plan for 2012. We'll miss all the great deals and joshin' that go with them but this year other things hit the calendar at the same time and could not be rescheduled.
That brings up the question, have any other Posses considered or proffered an offer to host the 2012 Natl. Convention yet? I know it usually doesn't come up until the Congress Meeting but was just curious if any 'leaks' had been mentioned or bantied about yet.
