Photo features a mustached man holding a Winchester model 1873 with a holstered Colt SA. Lying beside him is his dog. Bottom marked C.F. O'Keefe Ft. Madison, Iowa.

Boudoir usually means a ladies private bedroom or sitting room or dressing room. In this case I'd go with sitting room.
